Rodgers & Hammerstein’s South Pacific is a breathtaking, Tony Award–winning musical masterpiece set on a tropical island during World War II, where an unexpected romance blossoms between a spirited U.S. Navy nurse and a mysterious French plantation owner. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this timeless classic features an unforgettable score—“Some Enchanted Evening,” “Younger Than Springtime,” “There Is Nothin’ Like a Dame,” “Happy Talk,” and “I’m in Love with a Wonderful Guy.” South Pacific offers an entertaining experience while thoughtfully exploring themes of love, prejudice, and acceptance.

Lighthouse Repertory Theatre is a Long Island, NY based theatre company founded with the vision that Theatre has the power to not only transform oneself, but also have a positive impact on the community, beyond the stage.

We produce live theatre at multiple venues across Long Island, NY (Nassau & Suffolk).
We are a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to creating professional-quality local theatre, that makes a difference.
We work with local nonprofits to help them raise money and awareness, through our theatrical productions.
We are theatre makers, story tellers, and creatives - united by our desire to move audiences and positively impact the community.

We forge partnerships with local nonprofits - extending our impact beyond the stage - helping them raise awareness and funds for their causes. Our performances become a platform for these organizations to shine a light on their missions, fostering community engagement and advocacy.
Lighthouse Rep has helped to raise over $50,000 for local Long Island nonprofit charities.
